The Columbus office market is spread over 4 submarkets. Here are a few highlights about each:

 

The largest submarket is the CBD, which consists of 53 buildings totaling 9.6 million square feet, excluding owner occupied and government buildings. More than half of this space is classified as Class B.
The second largest submarket is the Northwest suburbs, which includes the Hilliard and Dublin areas. This submarket has 69 buildings and more than 7.3 million square feet of office space. The majority is Class A.
The North submarket follows in size with 4.8 million square feet contained in 52 buildings. As with other markets, the 17 Class A buildings in the North have the minority of space at 2 million square feet.
The Northeast submarket is the smallest of those surveyed at 4.6 million square feet in 58 office properties.
The combined suburban market is made up of 16.8 million square feet of office space.
